Our theme this year is Lights, Camera, Auction!  Come prepared to walk the red carpet in your Hollywood Chic attire and have a great night with all your NHE friends!

The NHE Auction and Gala is our largest event and fundraiser of the year.    

This event has been a marquee of the school community for many years and will once again be an in-person event this March!  The night features dinner, dancing, live and silent auction events, as more than 200 NHE parents, staff and supporters come together for a memorable evening to support a great cause - the kids!

How does money raised at the auction support Northwood Hills Elementary?

Outside of district allocated funds the NHE PTA provides additional support so that our students have opportunities for enhanced activities and enriched learning each year. 90% of this funding is raised at this event. In the past our auction has provided funds for items such as:

• Teaching Garden aka Freddie's Farm
• Think Tank STEM learning lab
• Student field trips to destinations including the Perot Museum, Dallas Arboretum, Dallas Zoo & State Capitol in Austin.  
  
• Stipends for classroom teachers and staff to purchase additional teaching enhancements
• Extra books and reading materials for the Library
• Reflex Math
• Pride rallies celebrating the end of each grading period
  
• Falcon Field Day...and many other special programs.
